Pycnanthemum are a genus of herbaceous and perennial plants native to North America.

The leaves of this species are characterized by their balsamic scent and are excellent to use for the preparation of aromatic infusions.

The plant grows upright, reaching approximately 60 cm in height. Summer flowering is particularly interesting for bees and pollinating insects.
